Who we are
Biomanufacturing and Process Development (BPD) North Carolina (NC) is a professional interest group that provides a forum for process development and manufacturing scientists and engineers to discuss bioprocessing issues and solutions. Students, trainees and transitioning professionals are also encouraged to attend.
The group meets approximately six to eight times a year. Each meeting features speakers from industry and academia, as well as technology and regulatory experts. BPD is one of over 25 Exchange Groups supported by the North Carolina Biotechnology Center.
Membership Guidelines
Professionals, faculty, staff, students, postdocs, and industry members are welcome. There are no membership fees.
Meeting Format
For the 2025 – 2026 season, we will host various events and a full-day vendor show in April. There will be networking opportunities for attendees, exhibitors and speakers. Registration is required for all webinars and events.
